DESCRIPTION:“Fiber Show at Turtle Ridge\nGet your cozies before the snow falls over our beautiful Door County. Kristin Gereau is a fantastic fiber artist and she is bringing colorful\, well-made scarves to cozy up for a chilly season. Every piece is handmade: I begin with black and white yarn\, which I hand-dye before knitting using hand-manipulated techniques on a loom. After knitting\, I felt the wool by washing each piece in hot water to shrink it. Using a variety of materials like wool\, cotton\, and silk\, I explore different opacities in my designs – Kristen Gereau.
