

Annual Pollinator Week Celebration-Climate Change Is In Our Hands: Little Things Matter

Join DC North for a week of activities including live music, plant sale, activities for all ages that help to promote all insects. Admission to all events is FREE.
Saturday, June 24th-Pollinator Party-12 pm to 4 pm
Hoot Blossom Farm native pollinator plant sale. Strings of Stone designs by Diane pollinator inspired sun catchers. Create and take a solitary bee house. Piknik-A-Go-Go for lunch in the gardens at Savory Spoon featuring garden fresh salads with honey vinaigrette to celebrate our honey bee friends.

Saturday, June 17th to Friday, June 23rd Butterfly Scavenger Hunt
Scavenger Hunt for the large garden art butterfly to win.
participate in our scavenger hunt and find our very own giant butterfly, Aponi. She will be “flying” around the Town of Liberty Grove in Northern Door County starting June 17th and will make her final nest on June 24th at the Pollinator Party at Savory Spoon in Ellison Bay.
Here’s how to participate:
- Visit the Door County North Welcome Center in Ellison Bay beginning Friday, June 16 for details and to pick up the first clue.
- Clues will be also be posted on Door County North facebook page and Instagram each day.
- Turn in your entry slips (collected when you find Aponi) by 2 pm on Saturday, June 24 at the Pollinator Party at Savory Spoon or into the Ellison Bay Welcome Center on Friday, June 23, open from 10am to 3pm.
- Winner of a grand prize and two gift certificates will be announced at the Pollinator Party. Winners do not need to be present.
