Clay Bay Pottery

Celebrating 50 years on Highway 42! Established in 1976 by David and Jeanne Aurelius, this beautiful gallery features hand-thrown pottery, tiles, jewelry, paintings, and original woodcuts. Their unique styles reflect the environment of Door County. Landscapes, water scenes, floral motifs, birds, and sky adorn their works.

“Since 2012, it’s been a family tradition for us to shop at the Clay Bay Pottery every time we visit Door County, WI. I love their gallery, particularly their hand-thrown pottery pieces! Every visit I find a beautifully hand made souvenir. This year my husband purchased a lovely coffee mug for me. ❤️

“We have been visiting Door County for over 40 years, and our first stop after a ten-year hiatus was Clay Bay. Our house is adorned with many stunning pieces of artwork from the Gallery, as well as some beautiful pottery created by the very talented owners, Jeanne and David Aurelius. We always stay up to date on what’s new at Clay Bay by checking out their Facebook page. Jeanne’s work is so lovely and both whimsical and historical; many of her pieces tell a Door County story. There are so many wonderful gift items, including jewelry, prints and gorgeous mugs.
Thank you, Jeanne, for the many wonderful memories and visits! We’ll be back!”
